Mining services provider Perenti has secured a series of new contracts and an extension to an existing agreement, adding approximately A$185 million to its revenue base. The latest deals expand the company’s footprint across key mining projects and demonstrate its capability to deliver specialized services to major industry players.
Perenti’s underground mining subsidiary, Barminco, has begun mobilizing at Focus Minerals’ Bonnie Vale gold project in Western Australia, marking a key milestone for the project. The company’s Drilling Services division also secured significant new business, with Ranger Drilling landing a five-year contract with Roy Hill Iron Ore. This agreement includes an option for a three-year extension, further solidifying the partnership. Ranger Drilling has been a presence at Roy Hill’s site since 2015, providing drilling services critical to the mine’s operations.
In a complementary move, DDH1 Drilling and Strike Drilling have each been awarded contracts by Rox Resources to oversee diamond drilling and reverse circulation drilling programs, respectively. Both initiatives are now underway and are scheduled for completion by May 2025, advancing Rox Resources’ exploration efforts.
Perenti Managing Director and CEO Mark Norwell highlighted the strategic importance of these wins, emphasizing the company’s broad capabilities in mining services. “These contracts reflect the strength and diversity of Perenti’s offerings, as well as our commitment to delivering value and certainty for our clients over the long term. I’m proud of the team’s dedication to finding solutions that meet our clients’ needs.”
